Weight Training for Fat Loss
Everyone wants a fit, toned, healthy body that produces energy to get through the day’s activities and workload. There are smart, effective ways to lose weight, build muscle, increase metabolism and burn energy. Extreme diets and inconsistent workouts actually hinder rather than help in these areas. When a female body loses muscle mass, metabolism actually decreases and is becomes easier for the body to store fat.
Women are more apt than men to pack on fat pounds because they naturally have less muscle mass. When they adopt a muscle building program though, women become fat burning machines. The only way to intentionally increase muscle is through a dedicated weight training program. Just two sessions a week make a huge difference and contribute to increased strength and weight loss.
It is a well known fact that muscle weighs more than fat. Therefore the scale will sometimes show an increase of several pounds and is an expected result. However the overall dimensions will be less, measured in inches rather than pounds. Soon the increased muscle mass boosts the metabolism, burning energy and fat. The result is a leaner, more toned body which is stronger in every way.
Most women have been conditioned to try cardio workouts and they indeed are a great workout. However weight training actually is more effective for females. Research has proven that women greatly benefit from weight training and women who complete an hour long strength training weight oriented workout three times a week burn over 100 in the following 24 hours than their counterparts. This additional energy burned is more than 15,000 calories a year without having to work for it!
This increased muscle effects the female metabolism more than men because muscle accounts for approximately a third of a woman’s weight. Lifting weights or pumping iron, as it is often called is not just for men. Lifting weights improves muscle’s metabolic rate and therefore the body burns more calories naturally. Combining intense, short periods of exercise with weight training results in a lean and toned body for women.
There is no need to worry about bulging, unseemly muscles protruding like a bodybuilder. Done properly, weight training for women sculpts a feminine look while toning muscles and revving up the metabolism to burn excess fat. Women will be slimmer, not bulky while fatty deposits in the trouble zones. Fat around the stomach, thighs and arms melts away.
Simply put, the more muscle in the body, the more efficiently fat is burned away. The greater the muscle mass, the higher the metabolism thus a desired weight and body size is easier maintained. Instead of focusing on how many calories are burned, and focus on building a body that expends them in a metabolic manner that produces results.
Diets and exercise can be great short term but for the long term, a lifelong solution, weight training for fat loss is a proven method to a healthier, stronger, more beautiful body for women.http://feelgoodtime.net/weight-training-for-fat-loss/http://feelgoodtime.net/wp-content/uploads/2013/08/weight-loss.jpghttp://feelgoodtime.net/wp-content/uploads/2013/08/weight-loss-150x150.jpgBody Healthmetabolism,Training for Fat Loss, weight loss, weight trainingEveryone wants a fit, toned, healthy body that produces energy to get through the day’s activities and workload.
