  • lowers elevated blood pressure,

  • stops diarrhea, improves immunity,
  • prevents development of viral and bacterial infections.

Especially prominent is its beneficial effect on the liver and bile since it clears them and enables more regular work of these bodies.

It is also important to say that aronia berry; aronia arbutifolia regulates proper operation and excretion of thyroid hormones, as well as it contributes to regulation the work of the pancreas, and may be useful in the treatment of diabetes (diabetes mellitus).

In the end, chokeberry is most often used in dried form or as a juice, so if you have an empty place in your garden it is not bad to plant this fruit. In addition to its medicinal powers it just looks good in the spring while flourishing and in July when it is ornamented with fruits that will patiently wait for you until September.
